Fahrenheit Centigrade Chart
A Fahrenheit to Centigrade chart is used to compare the values of the two temperature scales. Some thermometers display the Fahrenheit and Centigrade side by side. Note that Centigrade and Celsius is the same thing. Centigrade is the old name of Celsius.

Converters and Calculators
Temperature converters and calculators are used to compare the temperature differences. Most online websites perform the conversion on the fly. Just enter the figure you want to convert and click a button. You can also do the calculations yourself easily.
To go from Centigrade to Fahrenheit, multiply the Celsius degrees by 9 and divide by 5. Add 32 to the result and you have the Fahrenheit total. To switch from F to C, remove 32 from F, divide by 9 and multiply the remaining number by 5.
Another way to convert the temperature is by using the F=1.8C+32 formula. In this case the F points to the Fahrenheit number and C to the Centigrade degree number. If you want to switch from F to C, use the following formula: 50=1.8C+32.
In this example, 50 F is used. Substitute with other degrees as needed. Deduct 32 from the figures so you end up with 18=1.8C. The last step is to divide it by 1.8. To change C to F, put in 5 or any other C degree number. You will end up with F=1.8(5)+32. The result is 41 F.
These calculations may seem complicated but they are really very simple to do. Once you get sued to the process, it will be very easy to change and switch temperatures back and forth. Of course 6you can always use the online calculators and converters. Those calculators are free, so you don’t have to worry about paying for using the utility.
These Fahrenheit to Centigrade charts are very handy as it is very likely the Fahrenheit and Centigrade will both still be used for a long time. But by having these charts with you, problems will be avoided when it comes to assessing these figures.
